Surgery went well. It is a weird surgery because I need to be awake for it to determine the lead placements, and then they knock me out to finish up. This time, I woke up again while they were still stapling me shut. I was so loopy it didn't matter, but I definitely told the doctor that I would staple him! That should be a fun conversation at the post-op follow up appointment.

We decided to move the location of the battery this time. It was originally going to be in my other butt cheek, but now it is below my armpit at the bra line. Right now, during recovery I am beyond grateful for that! The pain of tunneling and implantation of both parts is isolated to a smaller region, which is why more tolerable that what it would have been. I don't think long term it will affect me either. I will have to keep you posted on that.

Recovery is so much easier when snuggles are involved. I am VERY sore from surgery, but my family keep me going. They are why I am doing this in the first place. I want to do things with them and play with them and stop being sidelined for everything. I can't wait to get through to the next stage of my journey. #crps #crpsforum #rsd #chronicpain #scs #spinalcordstimulation #nevro #HF10 #senza #family #collarcovers #cheetahprint #myfavoritecolorischeetahprint #laughteristhebestmedicine #teambryan #bryantribe #robomom #ineffablepain
