Once I recover and get to feeling better, there are some things I want to do that I haven't been able to do in a long time:
Complete a 5K
Play catch with my kids
Take a long shower
Walk the dogs
Go line dancing
Handwrite a letter
Paint the bathroom
Dance Party
Volunteer in kids' classes
Make pierogi
Go on a hike
Wrestle with the kids
Sleep through the night
Go bowling
Knott's with the kids
Type on a computer
Go to the beach
Host a party (without being in a chair the whole time)
Hold my baby
Carry my kids to bed
Do push-ups
Walk through every aisle at Target with an iced coffee (& some spending cash!)
Oh that last one is a dream for me after quarantine and recovery. I better start saving up now!
I know it will take a while to get to some of these. I know I will need to do a lot of physical therapy and occupational therapy. I know I am just one day away from being one step closer to a better me, a more pain-free me, a more robotic me.
